I always interested in studying about popularization. In pop-culture class, I learned to combine between popular and culture. I did not think about it how much I was affected from pop-culture in my life such as house, fashion, music, movies and so on. When I was studying about pop-culture, I thought that entertainers affect a lot of thing or raise the boom to us as a part of drama, advertise, culture, entertainment. First, we have been following it that entertainers have worn the clothes, accessory in the TV programs. It was not only wearing, but also activity, language like that. In these days, more and more we have been enjoying the entertainment and multimedia. In fact, almost all youth use them. Also, the culture forms of our generation are formed by using internet media. So, we can connect easier than before. And they made distinguished their culture from other generation cultures on the internet. Second, i learn a lot of things in text book. One of the most interesting is picture of the front of each chapter. It seems to ask that what you are thinking about something. Or, what should we study in here? And, I was very interested in pg44 which is telling about ‘American’. I saw a lot of ‘American’ in New York. A lot of different foreigners contacted with America culture. So, they was learning and resembling in America. In my opinion, they were not ‘melting pot’. Just they were becoming to ‘salad bowl’. When I went to the beach in Chicago, I was very surprising. I saw like salad bowl on the beach. They used to different language not only language, but also they were different color of face, skin, hair and so on. They are clearly ‘American’ and anybody could be American. As I get to know more and more about pop-culture, I get to like it more and more too. So, I want to know pop-culture deeply now.
